Under the brand Grupo Editorial Norma, with several collections, it edits, designs, develops, produces and distributes its own books as well as those from other publishing houses in the areas of business management, general interest, literature, non-fiction, as well as books for children and young adults.

Norma Libros offers a wide catalogue of Latin American and World literature and social sciences, and translates the most significant works published in other languages.

For the educational market, it publishes supplementary works covering the academic requirements from preschool through high school: illustrated and didactic works, the best of Latin American and World literature, and a complete library of the best known works of all time.

For the professional arena, it publishes a wide selection of titles that fulfill the needs of graduate and undergraduate studies, with emphasis in business administration, social sciences and economics.

It publishes books for children and adults that enlighten and entertain: books with the best known children’s characters, self improvement, novels and short story collections from contemporary authors, biography, current events, poetry, nonfiction, humor and maxims.

It also develops books in electronic format.

Through Internet, with its web site www.librerianorma.com, it markets its catalogue as well as other publisher’s catalogues, while offering specialized information and on line purchasing.

It owns three publishing houses in Spain and one in Costa Rica, whose catalogues are distributed in Latin America through Grupo Editorial Norma in each country.

And it also operates other publishing labels directed toward specific markets:

La Otra Orilla
This label publishes literature, encompassing well known authors both in the Spanish language, with emphasis on Latin American authors, and in World literature, including several Nobel Prize for Literature winners. Every year it awards the “La Otra Orilla” Prize, selected by an independent International jury made up each year by important Spanish language writers.

Verticales de Bolsillo
This label offers better priced books to all potential readers. With a pocket book format in an attractive, elegant and contemporary design, this label’s catalogue covers a wide range of subject matter: fiction and non-fiction, history, business, self-help, biography among others.

Siete Vacas
This children’s book label was born in Argentina in 2007 with the goal of expanding this genre’s offer by developing new formats and characters and creating a space for new writers and illustrators.
