Visipack

This firm specializes in the design and production of rigid packaging, both plastic and metal, as well as furnishing complete packaging services.

Production Lines

Thermoformed plastic packaging with or without printing:

Cups for yogurts, ice cream, gelatin, margarine and solid dishwasher containers, disposable dishes and glasses, cookie trays, food delivery and snack trays.

Metallic Line:

Collapsible aluminum tubes for tooth pastes, beauty creams and pharmaceutical products as well as glue and shoeshine products, and foods such as mustard, honey, candy and condensed milk.

Packaging Services:

Card-mounted Blisterpack type visible packaging that both protects and exhibits the
product; useful for batteries, tooth brushes, glue, pens and pencils, razors and razor blades, cosmetics, lighters and the like.

Flexa

Specializes in integrated packaging solutions with laminates and rolled flexible coextruded films, thermoformed bags, wrappers in rolls for foods, pharmaceutical, industrial, home care and personal hygiene products.

Products

Low, medium and high barrier packaging with convenience items such as valves, easy open, easy tear, reseal and easy tear laser cut.

It offers high barrier coextruded film products that provide protection from greases, moisture and oxygen, necessary for packing products such as meats, oils, juices and milk, and sterilized products.

It also produces single, double and multiple flexible laminates with aluminum foil, laminates with metallic films, and other laminates using the extrusion resins available on the market.

Processes

Coextrusion printing with up to seven layers.

Lamination with water based adhesives, solvents and solvent free.

Lamination and extruded and coextruded plastic resin layer.

Flexographic printing with up to 10 colors and rotoengraving with up to 8 colors.

Complementary finishing processes such as cutting and sheeting.

Plegacol

Specializes in the design, offset printing, retroengraving and production of folding cartons, folding boxes, E or B fluted micro-corrugated, Dur-o-Pak brand packages, for products needing added protection; precut paper labels, point of purchase or POP items and calendars.

Services

It provides packaging solutions aimed at the specific protection and exhibition needs of the product. For this purpose, it operates a team of graphic and structural designers and offers offset printing and rotoengraving, plus die cutting, joining and finishing.

It caters to different segments of the food industry such as gum, cookies, sodas, canned foods and margarines at the same time as catering to other industries by offering packaging for such products as toothpaste, soap, tobacco, domestic appliances, beer and liquors and personal hygiene products and pharmaceuticals.

Comolsa

Produces light molded pulp packages for those products that because they are fragile or perishable require protection from knocks and vibration.

Packaging solutions that economically replace non biodegradable or not easily recyclable packaging for diverse industries: poultry, chemical, soft drinks, groceries and fast food.

This subsidiary is associated with Huhtamaki in Finland, Hartmann Brothers in Denmark and Promolca ca. in Venezuela.

It also has investments in other molded pulp plants in Latin America: Molanca in Venezuela; Molpasa in Panama; Modolsa in Dominican Republic and Guamolsa en Guatemala.

Pamolsa

Produces rigid and soft disposable packages and products in plastics, including polystyrene, expanded polystyrene and polypropylene. It is the Peruvian leader in the manufacturing of disposable products with a vast array of products, and offers packaging for consumer goods such as yogurts, margarines, ice cream and others. It also produces molded pulp products for the poultry industry.

It offers intelligent solutions for the packaging of eggs, fresh meats, fruits, take out meals, soft drinks and bakery products.

It also provides supermarket packaging and wrapping services for meats with trays and stretch film.
